Course Introduction

Tool & Die Making is a class of machinist in the manufacturing industries, who make jigs, fixtures, dies, molds, machine tools, cutting tools, gauges and other tools used in manufacturing processes. The fabrication of pressworking dies constitutes the major part of the work done in Tool and Die shops. Set up, operate, and tear down conventional, manual, or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools and smooth and polish surfaces of tools and dies.

Career Information

Tool and die makers are at the top of the ladder in the metalworking trades. They are very versatile in using their hands for creating parts as well as machines to produce high precision parts. Their abilities go beyond that of the typical machinist. They are capable of designing and fabricating tools with no supervision. With these skills, tool and die makers are a tremendous asset in any manufacturing facility.

When would the class start?
All PSDF courses will start from APRIL 1st, 2017.
What is the admission procedure?
Admissions are offered free of cost at Infinity School of Engineering. To register a course:

  • Your age should be between 18 – 40 years.
  • You should have a Domicile of Punjab to be eligible for this program.
  • You must not be enrolled under any PSDF funded course prior to this admission.
  • You must fill the admission form at the admission office or your can DOWNLOAD IT and submit at admission office or courier it at our mailing address along with following documents:
    • 4 Colored copies of recent passport sized photographs
    • Copy of CNIC or (Form-B if CNIC is not issued)
    • Original academic certificate; Matric (Result Card, Certificate), Intermediate or DAE (Result card, Certificate)
Will you be offering jobs after training program?
YES! We offer jobs to all students in our company (INFINITY ENGINEERING) as well as in our allied group of companies (RAVI GROUP of COMPANIES, MICAS, ASKA ENGINEERING, QADRI BROTHERS and more).

Those who are interested in job are interviewed internally and shortlisted by the Training Officers and followed by interviews from the corresponding company.

Can I register in more than one courses?
For free PSDF  courses, NO

But if you can afford to pay for these courses YES but, all the expenditures in this case (including Accommodation, Food, Transport and Uniform etc) would be borne by the candidate himself. ISE will be only responsible for coaching and certification.

Will you be providing pick n drop to all students? If yes, on what routes?
YES! Pick & Drops transport facility is available for all PSDF students on following routes:

  • From Hostel to ISE
  • From Shahdara to ISE
  • From Sheikhupura to ISE
Is the stipend mentioned in the advertisement / flyer on per month basis or it is the total amount of the stipend for the full course?
The stipend mentioned in the advertisement in newspapers is total stipend for the whole course duration. i.e. 3 months or 6 months corresponding to the course duration mentioned in the newspapers ad.
Which Original documents, I need to submit for the registration of the course?
  • Original academic certificate; Matric (Result Card, Certificate), Intermediate or DAE (Result card, Certificate) will be submitted along with registration form and 4 colored passport size pictures and copy of CNIC (Form-B if CNIC not issued yet.)
Will the accommodation be provided to all out stationed students? On what basis?
Accommodations will be provided to almost all out-stationed students, on First Come, First Serve basis.
What will be the timings of the trainings?
For Morning Shift: 07:30 AM12:30 PM
For Evening Shift: 01:30 PM06:30 PM

I am already registered under PSDF, is there any situation that I may get another certification? If yes, what would be the procedure?
For free PSDF  courses, NO

Can someone having a diploma from TEVTA for the short courses can apply for these programs?
YES! If the Diploma / Certification is not registered under any PSDF program.
Are those with age equal to 40 years eligible for this program?
YES ! if they would be not more than 40 years by the start of the course i.e. April 1st, 2017.
